Types of Esters and their Benefits

2. Ethylhexyl Esters

  • Ethylhexyl Palmitate - Its is used as mineral oil replacement substance. 
  • Ethylhexyl Stearate - It offers lubricity and low volatility. Hence used in textile fiber dressings, carrier in printing inks, etc.
  • Ethylhexyl Oleate - It plays a vital role as a solvent for antibiotics and vitamins. 

 3. Isopropyl Esters 

Isopropyl myristate is used as an emollient for cosmetics and toiletries. Its distinct odor and color and special standards of fragrance makes it more useful in any cosmetic and personal care product. There are a plenty of Isopropyl myristate uses. Its quality of low molecular weight is highly beneficial for most of the products.
